Several PolymerWorks products qualify as low outgas adhesives against theMIL-STD 883/5011, and Telcordia GR-1221 standards. If you are looking for a low outgas adhesive for your application, see the list of products on the Low Outgas page of the Products .
Dual Cure Epoxies (UV or heat) that are stored at room temperature
PolymerWorks offers a line of Dual Cure epoxies that do not require freezer shipping and storage. Cure with either UV or heat at 125-150 C to obtain a high Tg epoxy, and enjoy a working life of three months at room temperature! Four resins of varying viscosity and two thixotropic versions are now available.
Members of the PolymerWorks P600 family are single component, Dual Cure epoxies that can be cured by UV light or thermally at temperatures of 125 to 150 C yet have working lives of three months at room temperature. The fully cured sealants have high Tg and excellent adhesion to many substrates (glass, ceramic, metal, and plastic) expected for epoxies. They are excellent candidates for semi-conductor packaging, optoelectronics assembly, and die attach applications. The P600 adhesives allow an instant "UV-fix" for aligned parts at edges that can see light, and the fixed component can then be heated to give complete resin curing, including in areas that are shaded from light.
The P600 series includes: P602-A, high viscosity (46,000-50,000 cps), P605-A, medium viscosity (9,200-9,700 cps), P608-A, medium viscosity (4,200-4,500 cps), P327-AT, low viscosity (1,000-1,300 cps),
A thixotropic version of the P600 adhesives is available for "non-flowing" applications where thermal curing is employed: P605-TX, thixotropic paste, (42,000 cps at 1 rpm),
